Supplements, Medicine and Ointment for Psoriasis: Effective and Unique Treatment From Japan

psoriasis supplement ointment

You can be free from psoriasis within 4 months to follow the guidelines, using supplements and ointment for psoriasis.

I am not a dermatologist, but a general physician. I’ve been using our special ointments, oral medication, and supplements for the treatment of psoriasis and I see psoriasis as an “inside out disease” which is a different view from ordinary dermatologists.

Psoriasis is a skin condition that is associated with increased inflammation. It is caused by a variety of factors such as hereditary, infection, environment, medications, smoking, and genetics. The most common symptom of psoriasis is dry and itchy skin that are located on the elbows, legs, shoulders, chest, face, and other parts of the body.

This may sound strange to dermatologists, but the main cause of psoriasis is two or three kinds of viruses. These viruses attack the patient’s abnormal variants of genes connected with the onset of psoriasis. This causes the immune system to function differently. Therefore immunosuppressant drugs such as methotrexate or cyclosporine alleviate psoriasis very much.

As the virus triggers psoriasis and alters the immune system, a holistic approach should be applied for the effective treatment of psoriasis. For this, oral medications with very low side effects compared to immunosuppressants or biologics combined with the ointment which accelerates the healing process and supplements and essential oils for boosting the immune system and prevent the relapse of the disease should be used.

1. Ointments for Psoriasis

ointments for psoriasis

Three special ointments to accelerate cure psoriasis are PS(1), MAS(1), and MA(1). Having treated more than 40,000 patients with various kinds of skin diseases, we created the formula of these ointments. It took us 15 years to complete them. These ointments can cure many kinds of difficult eczema due to psoriasis, PPP (pustulosis palmaris et plantaris), atopic dermatitis, nodular prurigo, etc. If these ointments cannot cure eczema, it is due to fungus, or serious malignancy such as mycosis fungoides (cutaneous T-cell lymphoma). The ingredients of the ointments as follows

PS(1): difluprednate, clofibrate, jojoba oil, vegetable squalene, lanolin hydrous, macadamia nut oil, fermented extract of leaves of shell ginger, very fine powder of 5 kinds of mineral ores.

MAS(1): difluprednate and clobetasol propionate, licorice oil, moringa oil, macadamia nut oil, fermented extract of leaves of shell ginger, vitamin B1, B2, B12, alpha-lipoic acid, very fine powder of 5 kinds of mineral ores.

MA(1): triamcinolone acetonide and clobetasol propionate, moringa oil, macadamia nut oil, vitamin B1, B2, B12, alpha-lipoic acid, fermented extract of leaves of shell ginger, very fine powder of 5 kinds of mineral ores.

Although these psoriasis ointments contain steroidal hormone (corticosteroid), the side effects are really minimal compared to ordinary steroidal ointments. Thanks to the infrared rays emitted from the fine powder of 5 stones in the ointments your skin are healed quickly. Other than these ointments you cannot find any ointment for psoriasis that emit infrared rays.

Both PS(1) and MAS(1) are effective for the treatment of psoriasis Vulgaris. But the efficacy seems to depend upon race, climate, foods. For some people with fair and thin skin MAS(1) is more effective. Therefore first I prescribe both PS(1) and MAS(1) and let the patients compare the efficacy for a week. For example, put PS(1) on the lesion of the left side of the body and put MAS(1) on the lesion of the right side of the body. Put the ointment twice a day for a week. Then, you know which is more effective for your case.

For the treatment of guttate psoriasis MA(1) is recommended.

2. Two Important Oral Medication for Psoriasis

We must eradicate the virus first and modulate the immune system by medicines that have the least side effects. The following two medicines are very important. These have minimal side effects compared to immunosuppressant pills or biologics.

a. Erythromycin (Erythrocin® 200 mg)

Erythromycin is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections. It is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections. I tried many kinds of antibiotics. But Erythromycin is really good medicine. Theoretically, antibiotics are effective against bacteria, but not against the virus. Against a virus, only anti-viral medicine such as Tamiflu against influenza should be effective. But Erythromycin seems to be effective against the virus, too, actually. The theory is not reality. Many medicines are effective theoretically, but not effective in reality. Erythromycin is not effective against viruses theoretically, but it is effective in reality. When I travel oversea by long international flight, I always take Erythromycin for 2 days prior to the flight to prevent bacterial and viral infections. And it does work. So, I suggest this medicine in the treatment of psoriasis.

How to take: 4 tablets/day — Morning 2 tablets, Evening 2 tablets. But the way of taking is unusual. Please take them as follows.

For 4 days take 4 tablets every day. And the following 3 days, don’t take any tablets. And the next 4 days take 4 tablets every day and don’t take any tablets for the 3 days. For example, you begin 4 tablets on Sunday. Then on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, you should take 4 tablets every day.

And on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, you should not take any tablets. Then, the next Sunday to Wednesday, take 4 tablets every day. And on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, you should not take any tablets. — repeat this cycle for 12 weeks (almost 3 months). *If you are allergic to Macrolides, please don’t take this antibiotic.

b. Cepharanthine (Cepharanthin® 1 mg)

This medicine for psoriasis modulates the immune system. It is an alkaloid extracted from the plant “Stephania cepharantha Hayata”. Cepharanthin® is a rather “obscure” medicine in Japan. It is used only for Alopecia areata and Leukopenia due to radiation therapy for cancers.

Because it is cheap, doctors are not so interested in prescribing it. (Doctors prefer expensive drugs for business!!). And Cepharanthine is getting been forgotten. But we find it is effective for various kinds of diseases.  It is not only useful as medicine for psoriasis but also useful in Multiple Sclerosis, Ulcerative Colitis, Hypothyroidism, Tuberculosis, etc. though we don’t know its precise mechanism. Now only one Japanese company produces Cepharanthin. I do hope the company continues the production of this highly potent psoriasis pill.

How to take: 3 to 4 tablets/day. Usually, you must continue for 3 months. Its side effect is very few. Compared with biologics such as Stelara or immunosuppressants such as MTX, its side effects are almost zero.

How to take these 2 medicines for the treatment of psoriasis: First one month, take only Cepharanthine. Second one month, take Cepharanthine and Erythromycin. The third one month, take Cepharanthine and Erythromycin Forth one month, only Erythromycin.

From the 3rd month, you begin to take natural supplements that I recommend for the effective result to treat psoriasis.

3. Supplements for Psoriasis

a. Natural supplement for psoriasis

Shell Ginger Supplement (JIPANG Ginger®) 1400 mg ~ 2000 mg/day

b. Vitamin and other supplements for psoriasis

1) Lipids
Lipids are connected with psoriasis. Being a physician, I have seen hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol) patients with psoriasis are cured miraculously by cholesterol-lowering drugs (statin drugs). This is not the case for many, but a few patients are cured by only statin drugs. But dermatologists ignore this fact because the efficacy is still controversial. But if you search [statin psoriasis], you find a lot of interesting articles, for example ; (https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/psoriasis/news/20100308/cholesterol-drugs-may-treat-psoriasis#1)
Of course, some articles are negative. But I think it is worth trying. I am generally against statin drugs for lowering cholesterol. But for psoriasis, it should be tried. Especially Simvastatin, marketed under the trade name Zocor, seems to be effective.

2) Biotin (15,000 mcg to 30,000 mcg/day)
Biotin (a kind of vitamin B) is among the important vitamins to help psoriasis cure. This vitamin is essential for fat metabolism and thus has importance in skin health. Patients undergoing dialysis, taking antibiotics, and people who take the only α – lipoic acid and those who take an excessive amount of egg white are likely to be deficient of this vitamin. Moreover, people taking sleeping pills, antidepressants, antiepileptic drugs, etc. for a long time also lack biotin. So, the intake of this vitamin supplement helps the treatment of psoriasis.

Because some species of lactic acid bacteria feed on biotin, please don’t take a large amount of yogurt carelessly.

Dosage of biotin for psoriasis: 10 mg to 15 mg/day. Please do not mistake the unit. It is 10 mg to 15 mg (10,000 mcg to 15,000 mcg), not 10 mcg to 15 mcg (10 μg to 15 μg). Many biotin supplements contain 5000 mcg of biotin per capsule, so in that case, 2-3 capsules per day are recommended. Biotin should be continued for at least 6 months. Smoking should also be quitted as biotin does not work effectively with smoking.

3)Omega 3 Unsaturated Fatty Acid: 3000 mg to 4000 mg /day
Taking omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids is very important for the treatment of skin diseases. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, harp seal oil is useful in treating psoriasis. This could be due to various omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids found in Harp Seal Oil. Harp Seal Oil is recognized as the best source of omega-3 fatty acids, as it contains not only EPA and DHA, but also DPA. About a third of the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids circulating in human blood is the result of DPA, which are the most important essential fatty acid family in maintaining soft, plaque free arterial walls. Harp Seal Oil is also more stable than fish oil, and less vulnerable to the natural process of oxidation.

When omega-3 is in the bloodstream, they lubricate the cells of the body. This lubrication reduces inflammation and has a healing effect on the cells of the skin. And from EPA, DHA, DPA many beneficial eicosanoids are metabolized. These functions help to alleviate psoriasis.

But if you love such a cute animal as Harp Seal and wouldn’t like to sacrifice their lives, please take Sacha Inchi Oil. And If you would like to economize, Flaxseed Oil can be a substitute.

4) Inositol (750 mg to 1000 mg /day)
Inositol is a vitamin-like substance whose precursor is found naturally in cereals. Phytin (precursor) found in cereal is converted in our body to inositol. Phytin, phytic acid, and inositol have many functions but control of cholesterol is well established. Sometimes psoriasis patients suffer from hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), and curing it contributes to reducing the severity of psoriasis. Moreover, inositol contributes to overall skin health so this is an effective supplement for psoriasis.

5) Zinc (40 mg/day Zinc Monomethionate or Zinc Picolinate)
Zinc is essential for skin regeneration. Regarding skin, it plays an important role in the regeneration of collagen. So, it is also an important mineral supplement to treat psoriasis. It is easy to obtain on the Internet or at any vitamin shop. Because it is inexpensive, it is a mineral that everybody can take. However, if you take too much zinc for a long time, you cannot deny the possibility of side effects appearing, so take with caution. Like copper, it is better not to take continuously for a long time. Also, it is better not to take zinc for those who suffered from hepatitis or those who are the carrier of the hepatitis virus.

6) Copper (4 mg to 6 mg/day)
Copper can kill the virus through mainstream medicine doesn’t think so. The onset of psoriasis is triggered by a virus infection. Thus it is a very important psoriasis supplement. Copper is a cheap supplement and you can get it at any vitamin shops or by the Internet. You should not take copper continuously for a long time. Take for 3 months, but in the fourth month, you stop it. Then from the fifth month take it for 3 months, and stop it for a month, and take 3 months, — like this cycle.

7) Selenium: 200 mcg/day
It is another important mineral supplement for psoriasis. It is indispensable to glutathione peroxidase enzyme which is a very important polymer antioxidant alongside SOD. Selenium is required to make this enzyme. Therefore, when selenium is deficient, naturally, defense against active oxygen and free radicals become insufficient. Selenium also activates the thyroid hormone. There are two kinds of thyroid hormones — triiodothyronine (T3) and tetraiodothyronine (T4). T3 is an active form and can be converted from T4 to T3. For the conversion, three enzymes are involved. One of them, type I iodothyronine deiodinase, contains selenocysteine. Selenium is essential for the enzyme to work well. Lack of active thyroid hormone T3 adversely affects psoriasis.

8) Magnesium (200 mg/day Magnesium Glycinate is recommended)
It is currently known that 325 kinds of enzymes are directly dependent on magnesium in our bodies. Therefore, magnesium should be involved with a few thousand physiological reactions totally, if the metabolisms that are indirectly dependent on magnesium are included. In other words, if our body doesn’t have sufficient magnesium, our physiological function would get paralyzed.

If magnesium is insufficient, we cannot get the full benefit from the supplement of omega 3 unsaturated fatty acids. And magnesium has a detoxification effect of noxious substances. It combines with heavy metals, and the complexes are expelled from the body quickly. Any serious skin diseases are negatively influenced by the accumulation of hazardous substances. Serum magnesium is not examined by ordinary health examinations. However, ALP (alkaline phosphatase) is often examined. So, if the value of ALP is fairly low, please doubt the lack of magnesium or zinc. Magnesium and zinc are present in the active site of ALP.

However, when you are taking levothyroxine (Thyradin®) due to hypothyroidism, take magnesium carefully. Magnesium may weaken the action of levothyroxine. Nicotine of cigarette or a large amount of alcohol (moderate amount is not a problem) will exhaust magnesium. When you are taking magnesium, if the stool becomes suddenly soft and diarrhea occurs, it is often caused by magnesium. So, please reduce the intake of this supplement.

9) Vitamin K2 as Menatetrenone
Tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα) antagonists play a very important role to alleviate psoriasis. Therefore, some biologics such as infliximab (Remicade®), etanercept (Enbrel®), and adalimumab (Humira®) were produced. But these biologics cause immunosuppression and are contraindicated in patients with chronic leg ulcers, persistent or recurrent chest infections, demyelinating diseases, congestive cardiac failure, and malignancy. And very expensive drugs. But safe and cheap vitamin K2 can inhibit the production of TNFα. Hence, vitamin K2 helps psoriasis cure.

Psoriasis Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I’ve been asking by many patients while treating psoriasis. So i write here frequently asked question by patients.

By ointment, the lesions disappear 90 % or more. But this is symptomatic treatment and ointment cannot cure your inside problems, though your social life improves very much. Therefore, If you don’t take “Cepharanthine + Erythrocin” and Shell Ginger (+ other supplements), sooner or later the symptom reappears. With “Cepharanthine + Erythrocin” and Shell Ginger (+ other supplements), you can be free from psoriasis for a year or more. After that, we cannot predict how long you can be free from psoriasis, because it depends upon so many factors. Especially mental stress aggravates it very much. But with proper diets and without stress, the recurrence rate is around less than 30%.

One US dollar ($) is 105 ~115 Japanese yens(¥). It depends on the exchange rate of the day. Therefore, for exmaple, PS(1) 50g costs $36.5 ~$40.

You don’t need to take them forever!!

Erythromycin: please take at least 12 weeks (about 3 months).
Cepharanthine: At least for 6 months. Preferably, for 12 months.

But if recurrence occurs, for example, after one year, you would be recommended to take them again for 3 months.

Biotin: 6 months at least.
Probiotics: 6 months at least.
Zinc, Copper, Selenium: For 3 to 6 months.

Omega 3 Unsaturated Fatty Acid, Inositol, Magnesium, Shell Ginger: At least a half year is recommended. But the longer, the better. And these natural supplements are effective not only for “Maintenance Therapy” of psoriasis but also for the prevention of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, depression, etc. Personally I’ve been taking these supplements more than 10 years just to keep general health.

Actually I’ve never seen any serious side effects caused by these two medicines. But one patient complained of abdominal bloating feeling after taking Cepharanthine. I let him stop taking it. If something bad against your health happened, please stop taking them.

Erythromycin (Erythrocin®)
Contraindications
If you are taking the following drugs, please don’t take Erythromycin.
Ergotamine tartrate / anhydrous caffeine / isopropylantipyrine <Clamine> / dihydroergotamine mesylate <Dihidelgot> / Pimozide <Aurapp> / Asunaprevir <Sunbepura>

Attention
If you are on one of the following medicines, please consult your doctor if Erythromycin can be taken together with the medicine.
Antiarrhythmic drug/Warfarin potassium/Theophylline/Aminophylline hydrate/Cyclosporine/Crolimus hydrate/Digoxin (Lanoxin)/Felodipine(Plendil,Renedil)/Valproate (VPA) (to treat epilepsy)/Midazolam/Carbamazepine(Tegretol)/Colchicine/Simvastatin/Atorvastatin(Lipitor)/Pitavastatin/Blonanserin/Ebastine/Edoxaban/Zafirlukast/Ritonavir/Cimetidine(Tagamet)/any anti-cancer drugs.

Caution
If you are on CCB (Calcium Channel Blocker) such as Amlodipine to lower your blood pressure, it is safer to refrain from taking Erythromycin, because the combination of Amlodipine and Erythromycin may cause unnecessary hypotension.
But Azithromycin which is also a macrolide antibiotic is safe with Amlodipine, and macrolide antibiotics are very important to treat psoriasis. Therefore, if you are currently taking CCB, Azithromycin is recommended, though its efficacy is slightly less than that of Erythromycin.

Patients often ask, “If for three months I have been taking Erythrocin that is antibiotic, are the side effects dangerous?”. The answer is “It’s generally not dangerous unless you have a serious illness”. Erythrocin is given continuously even for one year, for example, in cases like COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Compared with the side effects of steroid pill/immunosuppressant such as MTX (Methotrexate)/biologics such as ustekinumab (Stelara), the side effects of erythromycin is really minimal. But, of course, when you feel something bad with Erythrocin (or Azithromycin), immediately stop it, and consult your doctor.

Cepharanthine (Cepharanthin®)
No contraindications have been observed with Cepharanthine.

It depends upon the size and number of plaques or eczema. So, it is not possible to say how much you need it. But for mild cases, usually, 50 g/month is enough. After the lesion disappeared, you don’t need it till relapse.

Vegetarian!! But this diet is difficult to avoid for many. There are many foods to avoid with psoriasis but please avoid at least animal meat, milk, cheese, whey.

There is a type of food that you should avoid when treating psoriasis. Since the diet is important to curing a lot of ailments, it is very important to find out what kind of food triggers your psoriasis. The prevalence of psoriasis in Japan is 2 to 3 of 1000 people. The incidence is higher in the US, where it occurs in 2 to 3 of 100 people. 10 times more in the US. This disparity in prevalence between Japan and the United States is not based on genetics, but rather on diet.

Up to 150 years ago, before Western civilization culturally impacted the East, Buddhism prohibited meat-eating as well as killing animals. Psoriasis was unknown in Japan at that time. After the Western influence was introduced, gradually psoriasis emerged among them, although it is not nearly as prevalent as in the United States and Europe. Psoriasis is, however, relatively rampant in China, because the Chinese eat a fair amount of pork. Psoriasis rarely occurs in strict vegetarians. The best and definitely most economical treatment of psoriasis is to become a vegetarian. If one refrains from eating animal meat at least for three years, doesn’t drink cow’s milk or eats cheese, psoriatic symptoms will greatly improve naturally without any treatment in approximately three years.

Some patients try ” a low carbohydrate diet”. It does help some patients, as far as you can limit too much lipid and protein. But if you are on a low carbohydrate diet, you tend to take too much lipid and protein that may worsen psoriasis.  If ” a high carbohydrate diet” is bad for psoriasis, why do the Japanese suffer less than the Americans? Rice is the staple of Japan and rice is a typical carbohydrate. Of course, too much carbohydrate is bad, but especially too much lipid is really bad for psoriasis. That’s why some hyperlipidemia ( high cholesterol ) patients with psoriasis are cured miraculously by cholesterol-lowering drugs (statin drugs). The best treatment of psoriasis is found by seeking a proper diagnosis of your condition as well as knowing what foods should be avoided.

Periodic Fasting — even once in a half year — brings about really good improvement. It can give a good rest to your intestine. And good for detoxification. There should be excellent clinics in any countries that offer the course of fasting. Please try to find it on the Internet. You need a professional instructor for fasting. Please don’t do it alone

Additional Notes for Psoriasis Treatment Guidelines

2) Iron

Iron metabolism is connected with psoriasis. Because when anemia patients with psoriasis take iron supplements, their psoriasis almost always worsens. When psoriasis patients get phlebotomy (bloodletting) the symptoms get alleviated. Blood — red blood contains iron. Please refrain from taking unnecessary iron supplements, if you can do without it. And please don’t take too much vitamin C supplement that accelerates the absorption of iron at the intestine.

3) Probiotics
It is important not to forget that the intestine is the body’s largest immune system organ. Many hair-like villi occupy the small intestine, with Peyer’s patches and their patchwork-like structure between them. Peyer’s patches are a collection of lymph follicles, major players in controlling the immune system. Also, the epithelium in the small intestine contains 1 lymphocyte for every 5 to 6 epithelial cells and accounts for 60% of all immune system cells in the human body. In addition, a Japanese researcher recently discovered lymphoid tissues containing undifferentiated lymphocytes called cryopatches. These cryopatches house lymphoid precursor cells that become intraepithelial T lymphocytes with their central role in cell-mediated immunity. It is easy to see how important it is to maintain intestinal health to effectively treat skin disorders such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.

By virtue of its massive surface area, the intestines are linked to the brain, so much so, that the intestines are called the second brain. They are typically 6 to 7 meters (19 to 23 feet) long in adults. The intestines are composed of almost 100 million nerve cells, constituting 50% of all nerve cells in the body aside from those in the brain. Together, the brain and intestines control emotions, stress, and sleep. Consequently, the severe symptoms of psoriasis that are caused by extreme stress and anxiety can only resolve by ensuring that the intestines are patent and functioning well. Although the constraints of space will not allow a lengthy description of how the brain and intestines function together, one notable example of their importance is that strabismus (when the eyes are not aligned with each other and move quickly back and forth) was cured after conditioning the intestines with good intestinal bacteria.

We use a preparation called Bio-Three. This is the trade name of a probiotic product, which contains three active strains of host-friendly bacteria, E.faecalis T-110, C.butyricum TO-A, and B.mesentericus TO-A. Research results have shown that the combination of these three bacteria provides optimal synergistic effects. For more details, please open http://www.bio-three.com/ which is the website of the company that makes this preparation. But you may not able to get it in your country. If so, please try to find any effective probiotics for you on the Internet. You may have to try 3 or 4 probiotics till you can find the best one for your intestine.
* Also, try to eat one apple a day. Apple pectin is a good dietary fiber for conditioning the intestine.
* Ayurvedic medicine recommends cleaning our tongue. Please clean your tongue by a tongue cleaner twice a day. It may improve your gut flora. You can find a tongue cleaner on the Internet.

4) Detoxification
Mainstream medicine (medicine taught in a university) is not a proponent of a treatment that is critical to maintaining wellness — detoxification. Great traditional systems of medicine, including classical Chinese, Ayurvedic and Tibetan medicine all believe that before therapeutic medicines are given to patients, the poisonous substances that build up in the body over time should first be detoxified. In contrast, modern medicine, now and in the past, prescribes medicines to patients with no prior detoxification. In fact, it isn’t really a concern to mainstream doctors, a glaring omission in Chinese, Ayurvedic and Tibetan standard medical practices, known in the West as the standard of care.

Detoxification is essential for treating psoriasis, as well as many other conditions. It is first necessary to eliminate substances that actually help cause psoriasis. These include heavy metals, toxic chemicals, artificial food additives, remnants of medicines, viruses, bacteria, and others. One of the best ways to detoxify is being in a sauna, especially one using Far Infrared rays. These toxic substances are eliminated in sweat from apocrine and eccrine glands. However, one should not take saunas more than three times a week.

Bloodletting (phlebotomy) is also very effective for detoxification. Please open http://en.drmakise.com/shaketsu/ A warning, which may seem obvious, but should be mentioned anyway, is never to undertake phlebotomy on your own. The procedure should only be done by experienced health professionals in accordance with the particular best practices utilized in each country.

* Drink plenty of water. At least 1 liter/day, if possible 2 liters. Preferably, in the morning. Water detoxifies many noxious substances that may worsen psoriasis. But if you have a problem with the kidney, please consult your doctor about whether drinking plenty of water is OK or not.

5) Ultraviolet (UV) Light
UV light, or sunlight, is very effective for treating psoriasis. Solar UV light stimulates the production of vitamin D. 7-dehydrocholesterol (a cholesterol precursor) is found in food and absorbed in the small intestine, where it is converted to vitamin D3 in the skin. In the liver, it is converted to 25 -hydroxyvitamin D3 and is metabolized to 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol in the kidney. The latter form of vitamin D3 is most important. Vitamin D3 reduces the overproduction of skin cells that causes scaling, a precursor to skin cancer in some cases. Sunbathing standing by the window is not effective; being outside with the natural rays of the sun is best. It may take several weeks to see an improvement in your psoriatic lesions. Some people travel even to a tropical zone, an approach well worth trying.

UV light is used as UV blood irradiation therapy, today more commonly called photoluminescence. Blood is drawn from a patient, irradiated, and then injected back into the patient via autotransfusion. This technique has been used to alleviate many diseases, including psoriasis. The treatment is safe and free from adverse side effects. Photoluminescence Therapy (also called Biophotonic Therapy), was first used by Kurt Naswitis in 1922, irradiating blood directly via a shunt. In the 1920s Emmet Knott developed a precursor to the machinery we use today allowing blood could be irradiated outside the body. He received his patent on September 11, 1928, the same year that he irradiated blood from the first human subject.

6) Go to bed early
Please go to bed at least till 11 pm. The best is till 9 or 10 pm. If you go to bed later than 12 am (midnight), your psoriasis would be never cured.

Because growth hormone is secreted from the pituitary gland between 11 pm to 3 am or 3 hours after you fall asleep, and growth hormone cures the skin problems and it does other many beneficial jobs for the human body. If you sleep after midnight growth hormone is not fully secreted and your skin remains damaged. The growth hormone is secreted even if you are 80 years old or more.

To become a monk of Zen Buddhism and other Buddhist sects, young people need very hard training and ascetic practice. The time of sleep is sometimes only 4 hours. But they go to bed at 11 pm and get up at 3 am. They sleep during the most important time for keeping healthy. Traditionally they know the crucial time for the physiology of the human body.

And don’t go to bed soon after you finish your dinner or supper. 2 hours or more after the meals is recommended. Because if blood glucose level is high, the pituitary gland doesn’t secret growth hormone sufficiently.

You know well human growth hormone is touted very much as an anti-aging supplement. Some anti-aging clinics offer injections of growth hormone. But you don’t need the supplement or injection. Just go to bed earlier. If you have many works to do, you can do them early morning. You can get up at 4 am or 5 am in the morning and do the works.

7) Caution
With the skin symptoms of psoriasis, If you feel joint pain or stiffness and swelling, please go to a doctor first. Because it might be “Psoriatic Arthritis”, and you may have to take immunosuppressant such as “Methotrexate” immediately to avoid deformation of joints.

Concluding remarks

I have treated many people in Japan with this approach for the treatment of psoriasisUsing ointments for psoriasis is one of the best ways to relieve the symptoms of psoriasis. The root cause of this disease is a virus that infects skin cells and affects the immune system. Thus inactivate viruses with oral medications, accelerate healing using ointments and use maintenance therapy of mineral, vitamins for effectively treating psoriasis and prevent relapse of this disease.
